Lieutenant Doug Daza
Lieutenant Doug Daza was born in Bloomington, Indiana and grew up in Evansville, Indiana where he attended Central High School. After high school, Lt. Daza attended the University of Southern Indiana where he received Bachelor’s Degrees of Science in Sociology and Spanish. Lt. Daza served the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office as a Reserve Deputy for three (3) years before being sworn in as a Merit Deputy in 1992. He has served the Sheriff’s Office in Motor Patrol, Narcotics as a K9 Handler, Confinement and in Criminal Investigations. He has been a supervisor in Motor Patrol, the Jail in and in Criminal Investigations. Currently, Lt. Daza is commander of the Criminal Investgations Section. In his spare time, Lt. Daza volunteers at St. Joseph Church and School. During his time with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, Lt. Daza has been most proud of the deputies he has worked with. Lt. Daza and his wife, Jennifer, have three children.
