Merit Board Executive and Regular Session Media Notice
Notice is hereby given that previously scheduled Executive and Regular Sessions of the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Merit Board to be held on Tuesday June 20th, 2023 has been changed to Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 to allow for member attendance. The Executive session will begin at 4:00 PM and the Regular session will take place immediately following at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters Training Room located at 3500 N. Harlan Ave, Evansville, Indiana. The purpose for the Executive Session is to conduct final review of the background investigation reports for deputy sheriff candidates. The purpose of the regular session will be the recommendation of the candidates as part of the deputy sheriff hiring process.
