SUBJECT: Deputies Searching for Domestic Violence Suspect

Deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block on Emma Dr. for a domestic violence in progress. A female victim ran to and neighbors house and advised that she had been assaulted, and held against her will by her boyfriend, Kenneth Myers (suspect). The victim told deputies that the suspect was inside of her nearby residence alone and had possibly went up into the attic. Believing the suspect was still inside the residence, deputies, unsuccessfully attempted to make contact with the suspect and have him exit the residence. Deputies then applied for and were granted a search warrant for the residence. Deputies entered and cleared the residence and were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect had apparently fled the residence before deputies were able respond and establish a perimeter around the home. Deputies later turned the scene over to the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Section (CIS) for processing and the investigation is ongoing.
The suspect has been identified as 49 year old Kenneth Myers of Evansville Indiana. Felony charges are pending for Domestic Battery, Criminal Confinement and Intimidation with the possibility of additional charges to follow. Mr. Myers is encouraged to turn himself in at the Sheriff’s Office and speak with Detectives about his alleged involvement in this incident.
