SUBJECT: Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Partners with 4 Good Community to Support Residents in Need
RELEASE NUMBER: 2025-NR-1208
CONTACT: Sheriff Noah Robinson
AUTHORITY: Sheriff Noah Robinson

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) is proud to announce a new partnership with 4 Good Community (4GC), a local organization dedicated to empowering neighbors through kindness and practical support. This initiative will give deputies access to a specialized supply store stocked with essential items to assist residents during patrols and emergency responses.

The 4 GOOD Community Store is designed to equip deputies with items they may need to better serve those they encounter, whether it’s comforting a child during a traumatic call, providing household goods to someone facing hardship, or engaging youth in recreational play with donated outdoor games and sports equipment.

Sheriff Noah Robinson and Lieutenant Chris Roe visited the Evansville store to engage in a productive tour and gather valuable insights during an information session with 4GC founders Jeff Kingery and Kyle Duckworth. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to community-focused policing,” said Sheriff Robinson. “Our deputies often meet people at some of their most vulnerable moments. Having access to these resources allows us to go beyond enforcement and offer real help, compassion, and connection.”

Each deputy will be provided access to the store and encouraged to take items they believe can be used during their shifts. From school supplies to sports balls and clothing, everything in the store has been donated by generous members of the community, as well as national and local partners.

Deputies are also encouraged to take part in positive engagement opportunities by offering toys or games to children and capturing those moments, with parental permission, to share the impact with 4GC founders, Jeff and Kyle.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office thanks 4 Good Community and the many donors whose generosity is making this initiative possible.

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to sign their children up for the Kids 4 Good program.

Kids 4 Good is a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to empower children to lead with compassion, purpose, and generosity. Through standalone Kids 4 Good centers, children are invited into a free and dignified shopping experience where they can select items to meet their own needs and choose resources to give to others. This dual-purpose model helps kids understand the value of giving while building confidence, empathy, and leadership.

By engaging young people in tangible acts of kindness, the program not only meets needs today but helps shape a generation of thoughtful, socially minded changemakers across 16 population centers.

Kids 4 Good Centers are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only.
