In accordance with IC 5-14-1.5-5, the Public Notice of Meetings section of Indiana’s Open Door Law, notice is hereby given that, the Sheriff’s Merit Board will hold an additional session at 4:00 P.M on December 30th, 2025 in order to conduct a review of candidates as part of the Merit Deputy hiring process. The location will be the Sheriff’s Headquarters Training Room, 3500 N. Harlan Ave, Evansville, IN 47711

Additionally, in accordance with IC 5-14-1.5-5, the Public Notice of Meetings section of Indiana’s Open Door Law, notice is hereby given that effective December 17, 2025, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Merit Board has announced their regular, monthly, meeting schedule for 2026 as follows:

• Beginning in January the Board will convene on the third Tuesday of each month, beginning at 4:00 P.M., in the Sheriff’s Headquarters Training Room, 3500 N. Harlan Ave, Evansville, IN 47711.
