Today, Saturday, September 20, 2014, is the inaugural, “Tell a Police Officer ‘Thank You’ Day”.
On this day of police officer appreciation, I thank all the law enforcement officers working within Vanderburgh County and throughout the country. Thank you for your dedication and your professionalism. Thank you for what you do each and every day. Thank you for what you are prepared to do to protect the citizens we serve.
As Sheriff, I know that each and every member of our Office, regardless of assignment or rank, is important to our mission. Without your commitment and expertise, our Office could not function. I thank each member of this Office for your service to the people of Vanderburgh County.
It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve as your Sheriff.
