During the summer of 2025, Deputies with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Motor Patrol Division began receiving information that Scott Arnold Lee Knight was distributing methamphetamine from his residence in the 1700 block of South Bosse Avenue. Over the following months, Deputies continued gathering intelligence and coordinated with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force to obtain a search warrant.

On December 11th, 2025, Detectives executed a judicially authorized search warrant at the residence. During the search, Detectives recovered approximately 773 grams of suspected methamphetamine (more than 1.7 pounds) and 5.6 grams of suspected fentanyl. Detectives also seized more than $67,000 in U.S. currency, believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales.

Knight was taken into custody and charged with Dealing Methamphetamine, Dealing Fentanyl, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. He was transported to and lodged at the Vanderburgh County Jail.

The Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force is comprised of Detectives from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office and the Evansville Police Department.

CHARGES:
• Dealing Methamphetamine – Level 2 Felony
• Dealing Fentanyl – Level 2 Felony
• Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Level 6 Felony
