On June 09, 2024 at approximately 8:30 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the area of St. Joseph Avenue and Diamond Avenue to check the welfare of a female who stated a male had just taken the keys to her vehicle.  During the investigation deputies determined that a battery had occurred.

The suspect, later identified as Erron Radcliff, refused to comply with commands to place his hands behind his back. He began actively fighting with deputies.  A Conducted Electrical Weapon (CEW) was utilized to gain compliance.  During the Struggle, Radcliff grabbed the CEW and attempted to conceal it under his body.  Deputies re-gained control of the CEW and placed Radcliff in custody.  One of the responding deputies sustained lacerations to his hand while effecting the arrest.
