SUBJECT: Vanderburgh County Deputies Investigate Theft From ATM

Deputies were dispatched to Heritage Federal Credit Union at 5343 Pearl Dr. at 4:55 am for an ATM alarm. Deputies arrived and discovered thieves had gained access to the outside ATM , and had already fled the scene. A perimeter was established and a k9 was able to track to a nearby parking lot , where the track ended. Deputies on scene located a stolen vehicle which was used to assist in gaining access to the ATM. Detectives arrived on scene to gather evidence and to tow the vehicle to the Sheriff’s Crime Scene garage to process the vehicle for evidence. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
