SUBJECT: Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office: Deputies Investigating Crash with Injuries in the 9800 Block of Old Mt. Vernon Rd.

On September 23rd, at 4:44 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 9800 Block of Old Mt. Vernon Rd., for a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival deputies observed a white vehicle on its top. The white vehicle appears to have been traveling West on Old Mt. Vernon Rd., the vehicle then went off the right side of the roadway, collided with a tree and overturned. The Driver of the vehicle was transported by ambulance to Deaconess Hospital with serious injuries. Two passengers were also transported to Deaconess Hospital with minor injuries. An accident reconstructionist responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
