The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that Deputy Matt Gardner has been recognized as an Indiana Traffic Safety All-Star. Gardner received the award today during the 2026 Traffic Safety All-Star Award Ceremony at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The Traffic Safety All-Star Award recognizes Indiana law enforcement officers who made at least 25 DUI arrests during 2025. Deputy Gardner made 74 DUI arrests during the year, recognizing his continued efforts to remove impaired drivers from the roadways and improve traffic safety throughout our community.
“Deputy Gardner has continued to make traffic safety a priority and has demonstrated a strong commitment to keeping impaired drivers off our roadways,” said Sheriff Noah Robinson. “We appreciate his dedication and the work he does to help keep our community safe.”
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office congratulates Deputy Gardner on this well-deserved recognition and thanks him for his continued commitment to traffic safety and protecting the community.
