Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force Seizes 40 Pounds of Methamphetamine, Two Suspects in Custody

On March 5, 2025, detectives with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force were notified of two suspicious packages at a local parcel delivery facility believed to contain narcotics.

A detective responded to the facility and discovered approximately 40 pounds of suspected methamphetamine inside the packages. The parcels were addressed to a location in the 1800 block of Ridgeway Avenue.

Detectives conducted surveillance and observed a white van arrive at the residence. Two individuals retrieved the packages and returned to their vehicle. These individuals were later identified as Natasha Renee Garner, 46, and Goldie Rodney Junior Flenor, 36, both of Los Angeles, California.

As detectives from the Evansville Police Department and Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, in marked law enforcement vehicles, attempted to stop the suspects, their vehicle accelerated in an attempt to flee. The suspect vehicle then struck a marked Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office SUV. Both suspects were taken into custody without further incident.

A federal complaint was filed against Garner and Flenor for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine, and both were transported to the Henderson, Kentucky, Detention Center.
