On Sunday, August 14, 2016 at approximately 4:47pm the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection if US Highway 41 and E. Hillsdale Road upon report of crash involving three motor vehicles.

On scene investigation and witness statements indicated that a black 2010 Ford Fusion 4-door had been traveling east on E. Hillsdale Road before entering the intersection at US 41. The Fusion struck a black 2001 Toyota 4Runner SUV that was traveling north on US 41. The force of the collision caused the 4Runner to roll over several times before striking a black 2015 Jeep Cherokee SUV.

Pursuant to state law regarding crashes involving serious bodily injury or death, the drivers of the Fusion and Cherokee both consented to a post-accident blood draw.
