Sheriff’s deputies took six individuals into custody while serving an arrest warrant at a residence in the area of N. First Avenue and W. Franklin Street.

On Friday, February 01, 2019 the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office conducted a felony warrant service in the 400-block of North Second Avenue. Mr. Andrew Ryan Peterson was being sought on an active felony petition to revoke probation warrant, which stemmed from his original charges of Arson as a Level 4 Felony.

As Sheriff’s deputies approached the residence, they encountered a Mr. Jarrod Blaine Roberts and a Ms. Tia Justine Croce. Deputies determined that Mr. Roberts had an active petition to revoke probation warrant out of Hendricks County and that Ms. Croce had an active misdemeanor failure to appear warrant.

Deputies then knocked on the door and announced their presence. A Ms. Summer Marie Roberts and a Ms. Sidnee Shay Roberts both exited the residence, telling deputies that no one else remained inside. Deputies determined that Ms. Summer Roberts had two active felony petition to revoke probation warrants and that Ms. Sidnee Roberts had an active felony petition to revoke probation warrant as well.

Sheriff’s deputies and Evansville Police Department officers developed information that Mr. Peterson along with a Mr. Alexander Obrien Schnarre were still hiding inside of the residence. A search was conducted utilizing a Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team. After repeated warnings to surrender were given, Mr. Peterson was apprehended by the Sheriff K-9 team after being found hiding under a sofa. At the time of his capture, Mr. Peterson was in possession of a folding knife with the blade extended.

Evansville Police Department officers utilized a remote control camera system to continue the search for Mr. Schnarre. Mr. Schnarre was located hiding behind a chimney in the attic. He was taken into custody on an active felony petition to revoke probation warrant and a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant.
