SUBJECT: Armed Robbery / Stabbing

Deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of Chapel Ct. in reference to a disturbance and possible stabbing involving a taxi cab driver.
The female cab driver told deputies that she her female ride along were robbed and stabbed by a male patron. just after dropping off his friend. The cab driver stated she drove into a trailer in an attempt to get the male to stop attacking her.
EMS personnel were called to the scene and both female victims were taken to Deaconess Hospital for treatment.
Deputies along with an EPD canine searched the area for the attacker and located one person of interest after a brief foot pursuit. The second person of interest was located several hours later.
Both victims were treated for multiple stab and cut wounds. One was treated and released and the other has been admitted for observation.
The subjects are currently being questioned by Sheriff’s Office Detectives and the investigation is ongoing. More information will be forthcoming as the investigates progresses.
