SUBJECT: Sheriff’s Office Investigating Fatal Crash in Western Vanderburgh County

On 04/13/23 at approximately 2050 hours Vanderburgh County deputies along with Perry Township Fire and Posey County EMS were sent to Broadway Ave near Nurrenburn Rd for an injury crash. Deputies arrived and found this to be a single vehicle crash. The vehicle was apparently west bound and failed to negotiate a curve. It then left the roadway and struck a guardrail before rolling over and landing in a large ditch. Despite all efforts, the driver died at the scene. The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office was called to the crash and will release the deceased’s name after proper notifications have been made.
