On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 at 6:36PM, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputies, Evansville Firefighters, and AMR Medics were dispatched to the area of I-69 over S. Weinbach Av for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Dispatch had received numerous calls reporting that one of the involved vehicles was on fire.

Deputies arrived on scene and located three vehicles involved in the crash, one of which was fully engulfed in fire in the median, along with a witness.
