VCSO Receives Equipment Grant from the Vanderburgh Community Foundation

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office recently received a $10,369.00 equipment grant. The grant was provided through the Knight Township Volunteer Fire Department Fund, which is maintained by the Vanderburgh Community Foundation. The grant will be used to upgrade the current “body” cameras worn by our deputies and to purchase new video evidence equipment for use by our Criminal Investigations Section.

Established in 1992, the Vanderburgh Community Foundation serves Vanderburgh County and offers people a variety of ways to achieve their community goals through charitable giving. The Vanderburgh Community Foundation is part of the Community Foundation Alliance, a network of nine community foundations serving counties in southwestern Indiana.
