2nd annual 911 Gives Hope Appreciation Day

This past Saturday, Sheriff Dave Wedding attended the 2nd annual 911 Gives Hope appreciation day at the Fraternal Order of Police camp. The event recognizes community members who have volunteered their time in support of 911 Gives Hope charities.

Deputy Jacob Board and Deputy Brandon Rolley were each recognized for having taken part in their fifth Guns and Hoses charity boxing event this past April.

Sheriff Dave Wedding stated, “The efforts of our area sheriff’s deputies, police officers and firefighters over the years has resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars being raised to benefit children’s charities. I am proud to work with this fantastic group of law enforcement, fire service and emergency medical service providers.”

911 Give Hope is comprised of public safety professionals from Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick County, Indiana, and Henderson County, Kentucky dedicated to improving the lives of children and people with disabilities in the local community.
