Felon Flees in Vehicle from Deputies

On 04/01/2022 at 2:09PM Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Kratzville Road and Allens Lane due to the driver, Landon Ellis Marx, having an active Felony Warrant. Rather than stopping, Marx fled in his vehicle leading Deputies on a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit reached speeds of 45 MPH and lasted approximately 5 minutes and was contained to the general area of Kratzville Road and First Avenue. Eventually Marx’s vehicle became disabled as he attempted to drive through a home construction site in the area of Kratzville Road and Kennel Drive. Marx then eventually surrendered to Deputies and was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail. During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, Deputies located approximately 25 grams of suspected Cocaine mixed with Fentanyl.
