On 11/27/22, at approximately 0550 hours, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence in progress in the 4800 block of Lakeside Dr. involving a person with a gun. The caller stated she had been in a physical altercation earlier in the morning with her live in boyfriend and called family members to come assist her in leaving the residence.

While her family members were on scene, a fight broke out and a firearm was produced by the suspect and pointed at them. At this point, the victim and her family left the residence and were quickly met by responding deputies. Several more deputies responded to the scene and attempted to call the offender out of the residence; however, it was eventually confirmed that the suspect had fled the scene prior to the arrival of deputies.

Deputies were able to make contact with the suspect a short time later and took him into custody on the east side of Evansville. Deputies conducted an investigation and the suspect was later booked into the Vanderburgh County Confinement on several charges.
