The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office has arrested four suspects following an armed robbery that occurred over the weekend in northern Vanderburgh County. A juvenile victim reported that he was robbed at gunpoint by four males near his home.

On February 18, 2026, the juvenile victim met with detectives and deputies and reported that during the afternoon of February 14, he arranged to meet four individuals in his subdivision to sell vape cartridges. The meeting took place on a street near his residence.

According to the victim, one of the suspects took the cartridges and then pointed a handgun at him. The victim stated the handgun was equipped with a green laser sight, and the laser dot was visible on his head. The suspect warned him not to “try anything,” and all four individuals then fled the area in a vehicle.

The victim was able to identify the four suspects involved.

Two of the suspects, Caleb Christopher Baggett (17) and Jacob Joseph Harte (18), were located on February 18 and transported to the Sheriff’s Operations Center for interviews. Both admitted to participating in the robbery. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Harte’s residence, where a loaded 9mm pistol was recovered from his bedroom. The firearm had a green laser sight affixed to the underside rail.

Harte was arrested and transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail. Baggett was initially placed in secure detention at the Youth Care Center. He was later waived to adult court and transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail.

On February 19, the remaining two suspects were located and taken to the Sheriff’s Operations Center. Ashton Alexander Kohlmeyer (17) provided a statement to detectives. He was waived to adult court, arrested, and transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail.

The fourth suspect, a 15-year-old juvenile, declined to provide a statement and was placed in secure detention at the Youth Care Center.
