On September 1, 2022, Resident Agent in Charge (RAC) Adam Zirkelbach of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Evansville Resident Office hosted an award presentation ceremony at the Evansville Resident Office. 

On 8-22-2022, at approximately 0830 hours, deputies were dispatched to US 41 near I69 for a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Upon arrival, deputies located a black 2013 Chrysler Town and County minivan that had crashed into a guard rail and was blocking North bound US 41 at I69.

On 8-17-2022, at approximately 0536 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Kansas Rd and State Road 57 for an accident with injuries.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office has stepped up traffic enforcement around area schools and bus routes to help make sure this school year gets off to a safe start.

On 07/29/2022, at approximately 1319 hours, deputies were dispatched 8114 Old State Road in reference to an assist citizen. Deputies were advised that Animal Control was already on scene requesting the assistance of deputies to check the welfare of several dogs inside the residence.

On July 27th2022, at 3:06 PM, deputies with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 5930 Maggie Valley Rd.  The caller advised that a male had entered the trailer and shot a male occupant inside of the residence. 

Notice is hereby given of an Executive Session of the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Merit Board that was to be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, 3500 N. Harlan Ave, Evansville, Indiana, is cancelled due to no business being necessary.
