SUBJECT: Motorcyclist Killed on SR 65

On Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:11pm the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office responded to State Road 65 (also known as Big Cynthiana Road) and Nisbet Road in reference to a single vehicle motorcycle crash.
On scene investigation revealed that a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle had been traveling north on SR 65 just north of Nisbet Road before leaving the roadway. The motorcycle traveled off of the right side of the roadway and into a ditch. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries. The rider was not wearing a helmet.
The Vanderburgh County Corner’s Office and Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the crash.
