Deputies Respond To a Fatal Crash on US41
On Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 9:41PM, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with the Scott Township Fire Department, McCutchanville Fire Department, the Indiana State Police, and the Evansville Police Department, responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of US41/Hillsdale Rd.
Sheriff’s Office Holds Recognition Ceremony
On Friday, June 21, 2024, Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson welcomed guests at the Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse for an awards ceremony. Family, friends, colleagues, and other guests attended to recognize a number of employees. Sheriff’s Office and Evansville Police Apprehend Man Following Hit and Run Incidents, Pursuit, and Threat to Homeowner
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Evansville man this afternoon after he fled from a series of hit and run crashes and threatened a north side homeowner.
June 2024 Merit Board Special Session Notice
Notice is hereby given of a non-regularly scheduled Executive Session of the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Merit Board to be held on Monday, June 3rd, 2024. The session will begin at 4:00 PM and will take place at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, 3500 N. Harlan Ave, Evansville, Indiana, for the purpose of conducting a background investigation review for a prospective deputy sheriff candidate and (pursuant to IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(5)), as part of the hiring process prescribed by IC 36-8-10-10(b).
Arrest Made in Emma Drive Domestic Violence Incident
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Evansville woman in connection with a domestic violence incident that occurred on Emma Drive in Vanderburgh County on May 21, 2024.
Deputies Locate Domestic Violence Suspect
On May 23, at approximately 1057 AM, Deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block on Emma Dr in reference to a domestic violence in progress. A female victim was located by deputies that claimed to have been assaulted and held against her will by her boyfriend, Kenneth Myers. Deputies unsuccessfully attempted to make contact with the Mr. Myers at a nearby residence. A search warrant was later executed at the residence and deputies found he had fled the scene prior to the arrival of deputies.
