Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Old Princeton Road, north of Baseline Road. Upon arrival, Deputies found one adult ejected from the vehicle as well as three other adults and one small child inside the red 2006 Ford Focus.
The investigation found that the Ford Focus was travelling south on Old Princeton Road at a high rate of speed, left the roadway, flipped, and landed against a tree. Several of the adults in the crash were injured. However, the minor child, who was properly restrained, received only minor injuries.
The investigation is on-going at this time. As per Indiana Code 9-30-7-3 regarding serious bodily injury accidents, the driver of the vehicle will be subject to a chemical test.
