The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office has announced a new partnership with the Vanderburgh County Fire Department that will streamline DUI enforcement while reducing inconvenience for motorists.
Don’t Fall for Harvest Season Hazards
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind motorists to exercise caution on our county roadways as the fall harvest season begins. “Our local farmers will be moving farm implements and other agricultural machinery along county roadways to access farm fields,” said Sheriff Noah Robinson. “Motorists should be prepared for machinery to enter a field from the roadway or exit a field onto the roadway.”
Commissioners Approve New Golf Cart Ordinance to Improve Safety in Neighborhoods
In a continued effort to enhance safety on Vanderburgh County’s roads, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Vanderburgh County Board of Commissioners to draft new regulations governing the operation of golf carts. At their regular meeting yesterday, the Commissioners voted to enact the ordinance.
