At approximately 1638 hours, Deputies were dispatched to a crash with injuries on Highway 57 at Greenriver Road. Upon arriving, it was found that a red Ford Taurus and a semi tractor-trailer were involved. Investigation revealed that the Ford Taurus entered the path of travel of the semi tractor trailer, which was north bound on Highway 57. The driver of the Taurus was transported to Deaconess Hospital with injuries. The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries. Neither vehicle had passengers.
Both drivers were given blood tests at the hospital as per Indiana Code. However, drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor at this time.
