Deputies along with fire personal from German Township fire department responded to the intersection of SR 65 and Diamond Ave for an overturned semi truck.
The driver of the semi, Larry Goebel, was attempting to turn east onto Diamond Ave from south bound SR 65. While Goebel was making the turn, his load of 1100 bushels of corn shifted causing the semi and trailer to overturn. Goebel was not injured in the crash; however, there were roadway restrictions for approximately 4 hours while crews cleaned up the spilled cargo.
